The Tiger-II is Bosma's mid-range roof-prism binocular, with BAK4 prisms, fully multi-coated lenses, a 3 m close focus and a nitrogen-filled waterproof body (BSW-6: 30 minutes at 50 cm).

Choose 8×42 (107 m field of view, 18 mm eye relief, good with glasses) or 10×42 (105 m, 13.6 mm). About 650 g.

Birding (thanks to the 3 m close focus), boating, hunting and travel.
Think twice if
At about 650 g it's a full-size pair. For a cheaper 10×42, look at the Bosma Eagle.

    8× is steadier and brighter, with a wider view. 10× brings distant things closer, but shows more hand shake.

    Enough to use with glasses on. The 10×42's 13.6 mm is tight for most glasses wearers.

Questions

8× or 10×?
8× gives a wider, brighter, steadier view and is easier for birds in trees and anything that moves. 10× brings distant things closer but shows every shake of your hands. If you're unsure, 8× is the easier pair to live with.
Can I use them with glasses on?
You need about 15 mm of eye relief or more to see the whole view with glasses on. Twist the eyecups down when you wear glasses, and up when you don't. The spec table lists the eye relief where Bosma publishes it.
What does BAK4 mean?
It's the type of glass in the prisms. BAK4 bends light more evenly than the cheaper BK7, which gives a brighter, sharper image out to the edges.
When will it arrive?
We dispatch in 1–3 business days, then it's 10–20 business days on the way to Australia. There's no warehouse or shopfront in between, which is why it takes longer and costs less. If you have a trip booked, order at least four weeks before you leave. You'll get a tracking number by email when the parcel is scanned. Full details on the Shipping page.
Will my order arrive in one parcel?
Gear from the same maker usually travels together. If your order has gear from more than one maker, it can arrive in two or three parcels, sometimes a few days apart. You'll get an email with a tracking number for every parcel, so you always know what's on the way.
Will I pay duty or GST on delivery?
No. Orders under A$1,000 clear into Australia without additional duty or GST, so there's nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.
What if it isn't right?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused and in its packaging. If it's faulty or doesn't match what we published, we pay the return postage and refund in full. See Returns.
