Boundless Voyage's titanium hanging pots come in 1,950 ml (about 241 g) and 2,900 ml (about 307 g), in 99.8% pure titanium with a 0.5 mm wall and no coating (maker's figures).

Each has a bail handle with corner stops for hanging over a fire, a small folding side handle for pouring, and an inset lid with five holes that vent steam and strain pasta. The 1,950 ml pot nests inside the 2,900 ml.

Cook for the whole camp without the weight of steel.

Best for: Campfire cooking, pairs and small groups, car camping and base camps.
Think twice if: These are wide pots (160 and 188 mm across), so they take up room in a pack. The inside marks stop at 1.5 L and 2 L: the headline sizes are brim-full. Bare titanium heats unevenly and isn't non-stick, so stir stews often. For one person, the 1100 ml hanging pot is lighter.

Hang it over the fire
The bail handle hangs from a tripod over the fire, and corner stops keep the pot from sliding along it.
Strainer lid
Five vent holes in the inset lid let steam out and drain pasta or noodles.
Two group sizes
1.95 L for two, 2.9 L for three or four. The smaller one nests inside the bigger one.

What size pot or mug?

Most hikers only boil water: for dehydrated meals, noodles and hot drinks. Size for how many people you cook for. This one holds 1950 ml.

Why titanium
It's the lightest metal cookware, it won't rust, and it doesn't taint food. It heats unevenly, so it suits boiling better than frying.
Never heat a double-wall mug
Double-wall mugs keep drinks hot, but the sealed air gap means they must never go on a stove or fire.
Stoves are bought locally
Gas stoves sold in Australia must be certified for use here, so we don't sell them. Pick one up at an Australian outdoor store.
Look after it
Warm water and a soft sponge. Titanium needs no seasoning, and a little discolouration from heat is normal.

Questions

Can it go over a campfire?

Yes. Boundless Voyage says it can be used on a gas stove, an alcohol stove or an open fire. Titanium handles get hot over a fire, so use a glove or cloth to lift it.

Do the lids swap between sizes?

No. Each pot comes with its own fitted lid, and Boundless Voyage says they aren't interchangeable.

Can it go on a stove or fire?

Single-wall titanium pots and mugs can go on a stove or coals. Double-wall mugs and cups must never be heated: the sealed air gap can expand. Handles get hot, so use a cloth or glove.

Do you sell stoves or gas?

No. Gas appliances sold in Australia must be certified for use here, and gas can't travel by air, so pick up a stove and canisters from an Australian outdoor store.

Is titanium safe to cook in?

Yes. Titanium doesn't react with food or leave a metallic taste, which is part of why it's used for cookware.

When will it arrive?

We dispatch in 1–3 business days, then it's 10–20 business days on the way to Australia. There's no warehouse or shopfront in between, which is why it takes longer and costs less. Will my order arrive in one parcel?

No. Orders under A$1,000 clear into Australia without additional duty or GST, so there's nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.

What if it isn't right?
