A 10 cm thick camping mat, about 195 × 70 cm, with a 16 cm raised pillow end and a built-in foot pump. 40D nylon with TPU coating; side snaps join two mats into a double. About 1.1 kg.

How warm a mat do you need?

R-value measures how well a mat stops the ground pulling heat out of you. Higher is warmer, and R-values add up when you stack two mats. The maker doesn't publish an R-value for this one, so we don't claim a season for it. Use the table to pick, and on frosty nights put a foam mat underneath.

Can two mats join into a double?

Yes. The side snaps clip two mats together into a double for couples.

Will it fit in my tent?

At about 195 × 70 cm it fits most two-person tents one mat per person; two joined mats are 140 cm wide.

What does the R-value mean?

It measures how well the mat stops the ground pulling heat out of you. As a rough guide: about 2 for summer, 2 to 4 for three seasons, 4 to 5 for cold nights and frost, and 5 or more on snow. R-values add up, so a foam mat under an inflatable adds its R-value.

Is it noisy?

Some insulated mats rustle when you roll over, because of the reflective layer inside. If it's a concern, the product notes above say what the maker uses inside.

What if it gets a puncture?

Carry the repair patches that come with it. Find the leak by listening, or with soapy water, then clean, dry and patch. Put a groundsheet or footprint under your tent and clear sharp sticks before you pitch.

When will it arrive?

We dispatch in 1–3 business days, then it's 10–20 business days on the way to Australia. There's no warehouse or shopfront in between, which is why it takes longer and costs less. Will my order arrive in one parcel?

Gear from the same maker usually travels together. If your order has gear from more than one maker, it can arrive in two or three parcels, sometimes a few days apart. You'll get an email with a tracking number for every parcel, so you always know what's on the way.

Will I pay duty or GST on delivery?

No. Orders under A$1,000 clear into Australia without additional duty or GST, so there's nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.

What if it isn't right?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it unused and in its packaging. If it's faulty or doesn't match what we published, we pay the return postage and refund in full. See Returns.
